Our History

At The Little Cottage Cleaning Company we started out in 2016 as an ecological cleaning service in the home counties of the UK.  

Our name quickly became synonymous with high quality cleaning services with excellent attention to detail.

As we progressed with our cleaning service provision it became apparent that not all ecological cleaning products worked as well as their none-eco equivalents.  This led us to start developing our own in house solutions so that we could continue to provide the best possible cleaning service to our clients.

Over the years that followed we refined our formulas to ensure they were the best for the environment, and for the task at hand.  Today, we use our products literally thousands of times every week.  You can rest assured our products are tried and tested by the professionals so will be as safe and as effective in your own home too.

Our products are available to the general public in easy to use sprays and concentrates.  We also offer high volume products to trade and wholesale customers.

As always, our products have the environment in mind so are biodegradable, 100% natural ingredients, made in the UK, vegan, not tested on animals and septic tank safe.  Wherever possible we use recycled plastics in our containers and all our product bottles, sprays, canisters and packaging is recyclable.  Our sprays are bottled by hand in our small factory in Berkshire.

We are currently undergoing B-Corp evaluation which we believe is synonymous with our vision and values.  When accredited, this will sit alongside our Investors in People and Disability Confident Awards plus our Domestic Cleaning Alliance, ISO9001/14001 and British Institute of Cleaning Science Memberships.
